Raised on the San Francisco Peninsula coast, Diana Plank has always lived within sight and sound of the ocean. The tiny area above Half Moon Bay where she grew up had a population of 300, and her nearest neighbor lived a quarter of a mile away. Diana grew accustomed to this coastal lifestyle from the very beginning.
During her teenage years, Diana met with several adverse challenges. Rather than quit, Diana was strengthened by overcoming these obstacles. And she recognized that it was the support of her friends, neighbors, and her community that helped her through the rough times. Diana adopted this kind of support and concern for others. At an early age, Diana learned from her family and community to be honest, ethical, and trustworthy.
Diana's mother was a real estate broker and her father was a local building contractor. You might say real estate was in her blood. Diana knew she was destined for real estate when she bought her first home through a "contract of sale" for $1 down!
"This was when I decided that real estate was for me!" she says, "I've been in the industry ever since."
